I learned an important lesson this morning. It was based upon being tired, trying to multi task and not thoroughly thinking through my great time saving tasks.
My alarm goes off at 6:15 and I quickly convince myself that I can sleep until 6:30. I was eating breakfast at work and I was taking leftovers for lunch so no extra prep time was needed.
10 minutes later I realize that I need to soak my foot for 15 minutes before going to work. Begrudgingly I get out of bed and head to the shower. I quickly bath and in the midst of rinsing off my Oil of Olay supreme creamy body wash it comes to me. I will simply bring my soaking pan into the bathroom and soak while doing my hair and makeup.
Some times I am so efficient I scare myself!
I get out, get dressed...no pants yet, didn't want to drag them in the water.
I carefully measure my Epson salt and dilute with warm water.
I position it in front of my sink and begin doing my makeup. My toe enjoying the nice warm soak.
Though not as relaxing as sitting and soaking, it is effective none the less.
I finish my makeup and start to move on to my hair. As I am plugging in my hair dryer it occurs to me that I am standing in a tub of water.... and oh, yeah, I am holding a blow dryer.
Suddenly I see a problem....Images of warning tags fly through my head.. luckily before I turn on the blow dryer.
My soak was cut short but at least I didn't get a new hairdo.
Moral of the story: Never soak and dry!and Save your life not time!
